Treatment of distal intestinal obstruction syndrome (DIOS) previously called meconium ileus equivalent.
Nebulised: Mucolytic
Given for the duration of the intravenous aminoglycoside treatment to prevention aminoglycoside induced ototoxicity.
NOTES
Inhaled use in CF largely superseded by dornase alfa and hypertonic saline.
