DRUG INTERACTIONS
Amphotericin
Increased risk of hypokalaemia.

Antagonism of hypoglycaemic effect.
Cyclosporin
Cyclosporin levels increased.
Digoxin
Potentiates hypokalaemia and may therefore result in toxicity.
Diuretics
Antagonism of diuretic effect.
Itraconazole
Possibly inhibits metabolism of methlyprednisolone.
Rifampicin
Accelerates metabolism of corticosteroids.
Theophylline
Increased risk of hypokalaemia.
Vaccines
Immune response impaired: avoid live vaccines.
NOTES
Pulse doses often used for transplant rejection.
